We have had bassets for the past 20 years and have had bloodhounds for almost 5 years.
All of our dogs are pets first and live In the home with us In Aberdeenshire Scotland not far from Aberdeen
We started showing with our first bloodhound and now show both bloodhounds and our basset hound . We also compete in working trials with our bloo

We are occasional breeders off both basset hounds and bloodhounds. We had a litter of basset puppies late 2025

We started showing our first bloodhound in 2021 and through showing have travelled all over the U.K. and met many new fiends. Since then we have shown one of our basset hound and have another bloodhound that also is shown.
All 3 have done well over the years and all have been shown at varying levels from Crufts to local companion shows

With our bloodhound we compete in working trials where we hunt the clean boot. Someone walks a predetermined route then depending on the level after a set time we set off and the aim is that just from a scent item the dog can follow where the person went. It ranges from a 30 minute lead time and over 1 mile for novice up to senior which h

Someone walks a predetermined route then depending on the level after a set time we set off and the aim is that just from a scent item the dog can follow where the person went. It ranges from a 30 minute lead time and over 1 mile for novice up to senior which has a 2 hour lead time and covers 3 miles.
It is amazing watching them do what they were meant for and how you can see it when they switch on when working.

We are occasional basset hound breeder and bloodhound breeder. We only produce a litter when we are looking for something for ourselves and we carefully select the mating for temperament, conformation, health and working.
